Palimbang Municipal Mayor Hon. Joenime B. Kapina presided the convening of Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) of the LGU held on January 30, 2024 at the Conference Room, Municipal Hall, Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat.

This convening was spearheaded by PSA-Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office. This is in line with the preparation for the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System in the municipality.

CSS Herlita G. Caraan presented the CBMS’s objectives, importance and its legal bases.

CSS Caraan also informed the body that the conduct of the Mid-Decade Census will be integrated to the 2024 CBMS.

CSS Caraan solicited the support of the local government officials through the MCCB to help the PSA in enjoining their constituents to participate in the upcoming conduct of the 2024 CBMS.

The MCCB members and Mayor Kapina's statement of support in the provision of operational assistance needed for the successful conduct of the 2024 CBMS made the convening even more fruitful and reassuring.

In addition, the body agreed to pass a resolution enjoining the support of stakeholders in the municipality and the general public in the implementation of the 2024 CBMS in the Municipality of Palimbang.
